The Bandera Ice Caves’ temperature never rises above freezing.

The villages of Truchas and Chimayo have descendants of Spanish conquistadors that still speak a form of 16th century Spanish spoken nowhere else in the world today.

I totally didn't know that about Truchas and Chimayo -- I think that is fascinating.
