I am just not sure that something that was a big deal back in the 1930's would really be so popular now. We have water parks, pools and lots of other activities that weren't available it the 30's. I personally can't see myself driving down to Tingley to hang out on "the beach." Although, I suppose that people that live in that area might think it is a good idea and somewhere fun to take their kids.
