ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (AP) - Part of an episode of MGM/Sci Fi Channel’s Stargate: Universe television series will be shot in and around the southern New Mexico community of Alamogordo.
The production will film in the area in late April through early May, and plans to hire at least 75 members of its crew locally.
Stargate: Universe is about a group of explorers who are stranded in space and board a crewless ship with a programmed mission to travel to the farthest reaches of the universe.
It stars Robert Carlyle and Lou Diamond Phillips.
